Advanced Communications Server - Connecting Corporate With The Field Representatives

All the information available to the sales rep would remain useless if there wasn't a robust communication framework to share that information with management and enterprise systems at corporate headquarters. RouteRider LE includes an advanced communications server to link the mobile representative and the home office. Data from the handheld is sent to the advanced communication server. The server communicates with the host system using ASCII file formats. A multi-tab GUI (graphical user interface) allows you to set parameters of operation, view log files, and check on the status of server operations. Each installation can have unique settings for specific business operations.
